Prints

Print is a problematic word. When I use the word I mean an original work of art that was created in the printing process, and is NOT a reproduction of an already existing art work. So, by my definition a giclee print by the photographer Keith Skelton is an original work of art because he is using his camera and computer to create the work. On the other hand, the limited edition reproductions by a famous wildlife painter (whose name eludes me at present) are copies of an original art work.

All of my prints are pulled by (my) hand in small editions using low-tech methods, such as silkscreen, block print and stencils.
